G3 Working Group

On September 23rd, 2019, Governor Lourdes A. Leon Guerrero and Lt. Governor Joshua F. Tenorio promulgated Executive Order 2019-23, creating the G3 Working Group.

Executive Order 2019-23 brought together 97 working group members representing all sectors of society to create the Guam Green Growth Action Framework and assigned the facilitation of Guam Green Growth to the University of Guam Center for Island Sustainability. 

The objective of the G3 Working Group is to support public-private partnerships connected to the Local2030 Islands Network and to scale and accelerate locally and culturally relevant sustainability solutions to global challenges through the creation and implementation of an ambitious G3 Action Framework to meet the 17 UN SDGs, and to develop appropriate means to broaden public participation, awareness, and education regarding the task of addressing SDGs.
