The Guam Green Growth Conservation Corps members were in the jungles at the Ugum Watershed in Inalahån this past week.
Alongside the Guam Restoration of Watersheds (GROW) team, the Corps worked to clear more land in preparation of tree planting projects that will help to prevent further erosion in the area.
The group removed hazards and readied acres of land during the process while also neatening over 400 feet of erosion prevention devices they installed earlier in the program.
The GROW team will be hosting tree planting events soon in hopes of further stabilizing the land and preventing degradation of our coral reefs.
